I'm not sure if this is the right group for this question. I am a visio
virgin struggling to get to grips with it all. I have downloaded a cad
drawing which has been converted to dwg format. I have opened it up
alright and the drawing contains various elevations/plans etc. However I
cant seem to zoom into the various components and print them
individually. Also, I can remove layers but I cant add details. I'm
sorry if this is rather basic stuff maybe someone could recommend a
'visio for idiots' guide that concentrates on building plans. thanks in
anticipation. Paul

don't know anything at all about Visio, but there are dwg viewers
available that might be useful for printing etc. Check out this site
here:

Haven't tried it, just found it via google.

I am a Visio owner.
Are you operating in Paperspace? Some difficulty in zooming there, but
not in Modelspace.

At the print mode, there is a box&print option available. If nothing
comes off the printer, you have it non-selected. Should easily see via
Print Preview.
