A friend of mine is a MAC user/lover. He wants to know if there are any
versions which will run on the MacIntosh computer? And then if there
are any interchange of data problems.

I have wondered how far osx is from Linux, which can run the linux version
of Icad. That's the only alternative to windows I know of.

Boot Camp will turn his Mac into a pc and then he'll have a real
computer instead of a work of art (of dubious value) and will now be
able to run real software.

There is another program called parallels (sic?) that may work

Actually it does. Boot Camp simply is like one of those PC Boot
Commander type deals that allows you to select a different boot
partition. Don't know if it allows more than 2 choices, but it doesn't
require that choice 2 be XP.

If the reason for using Bootcamp was so you could run Icad, you would think
the windows version might have more possibility. Linux Icad (as I understand
its implementation), like alien os's on a mac, seems to me another attempt
at going against nature. Might work but more chance of discovering a
problem.
